I Care” Horse Buckets: Collect all or some of the following items and put them in a small horse bucket (brushes, horse treats, hoof picks, slat block, wormer, fly spray, gift certificates to Tractor Supply or anything for horses you can fit into a bucket)
Fundraisers for the Animals
Organize a food drive - Ask your principal/teacher at your school if you could host a food drive at your school. Put flyers up before the drive to let people know the dates that you will be collecting the feed.
Start Pennies for Ponies at your school or in your classroom.
Ask your principal/teacher first. Then decorate canisters that will hold the coins. Make this into a contest to see which classroom can bring in the most
money. Example: Monday-bring in pennies, Tuesday-bring in nickels, Wednesday-bring in dimes, Thursday-bring in quarters and
Friday-bring in spare change. The class with the most money could possibly win some kind of treat (ask your principal).
Have a bake sale. Ask your school or church to help sponsor a bake sale. Ask family and friends to donate baked treats.
Organize a supply drive. (See our “Wish L ist” for needed items.) Ask your school or church to help sponsor a supply drive.
Host a car wash.
PLEASE NOTE: All donations to the Voice For Horses Rescue will be used at our discretion in support of our mission.
Please VFHRN at voiceforhorses@wmconnect.com to schedule an appointment to bring in your craft projects. Any monetary donations can be dropped off by appointment or picked up by our volunteers, Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. On behalf of the horses, thank you so much
