Community Service Program for Court Ordered Individuals
Voice For Horses Rescue offers community service hours to individuals who have been court ordered to perform community service. This programs gives these individuals the opportunity to volunteer at VFHRN. The individual gets to be involved with the day‐to‐day maintenance of the Rescue Facility.
Who is eligible?
Individuals who go through Probation and are Court Ordered to do community service with a Non-Profit Agency. You must also provide your own transportation to VFHRN facility.
You Must have paperwork from your Probation Dept. or your Attorney That indicates the offense, how many hours required, by what date it is to be completed, as well as a copy of their picture ID or License. Individuals must also sign our volunteer liability release form as well as a confidentiality form.
Who is ineligible?
Individuals who have been convicted of: Theft, Robbery, B & E (breaking & entering), abuse of children, animals or adults, Assault, crimes of a Sexual matter, or Crimes involving a weapon
If you are:
• Willing to work with others
• Take instructions
• Have a respect for animals / horses
• Have no allergies to animals or at least Managed Allergies
• Willing to work hard & like to get dirty
• Reliable
• Kind, gentle and patient with animals / horses
